In this well-being course you will engage in a series of challenges designed to increase your own happiness and build more productive habits. As preparation for these tasks, Professor Laurie Santos reveals misconceptions about happiness, annoying features of the mind that lead us to think the way we do, and the research that can help us change.ย 

At the start of the course, you will work to reveal misconceptions we all have about happiness and the reasons our mind leads us to think the way we do. Following that, you will delve into proven happiness-increasing activities along with strategies to build better habits. Lastly, you will be gifted time, tips, and social support to work on the final assignment which asks learners to apply one wellness activity aka โ€œRewirementโ€ into their lives for four weeks.
